Visitation Meetings are on the Third Tuesday of each month at 1:00pm.
In John 15:12, Jesus says, “This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you.” Loving and caring for one another is not just the pastor’s job—it’s something Jesus calls us all to do! To this end, Shepherd of the Sea has a Visitation Ministry Team of trained lay leaders who are prepared to make visits on behalf of the church and distribute communion.
Anyone needing encouragement, comfort, or a sense of belonging would profit from a visit. While that is a broad statement that could certainly include everyone, there are certain people who especially need to be reminded that they aren’t forgotten.
Visitation Ministry is also an important evangelism tool. Individuals who have visited Shepherd of the Sea and are interested in learning more about the congregation would also benefit from spending time with a member of our visitation team.
If you or someone you know would like to request a visit from our church staff or visitation ministry team please complete the on-line Request for Visitation Form below. You can also contact the church office at 843-651-7377 or contact Debbie Moynihan at 908-797-9114.
